The Qudos Bank Lifestyle Credit Card

An excellent low cost option for cardholders who carry a balance, the Qudos Bank Lifestyle Credit Card has an intro rate of 4.99% p.a. on purchases and balance transfers for five months, and a low purchase rate ongoing. Keeping it fairly basic elsewhere, the card works to keep costs down with no annual fee to pay ever, and no additional cardholder fee either.

What we love...

If you’re looking to save on interest, the Qudos Bank Lifestyle Credit Card currently has an intro offer that could help you do just that. If you apply for this card, you can benefit from an intro rate of 4.99% p.a. on both purchases and balance transfers for five months. After the end of the intro period, any balance left unpaid reverts to the card’s low purchase rate.

If you have your eye on something and want to pay it off over a period of time, this card could help you save on interest as you do it. Alternatively, if you have credit card debt that you want to pay off, you could transfer it to this card to enjoy a lower rate of interest during the intro period. Paying less in interest could then help you clear your debt faster.

Ongoing, this card may suit cardholders who carry a balance on their credit card. With its low ongoing purchase rate, it could help keep interest costs lower. This would make it a preferable option to a card that perhaps offers more features, but has a higher purchase rate.

Another appealing feature on this card is its lack of an annual fee. As a cardholder, you will pay no annual fee on this card ever, and if you choose to add an additional cardholder to the account, you can do so at no extra charge. This could work well for you if you want to simplify your family finances while keeping costs down.

What’s not so great...

The Qudos Bank Lifestyle Credit Card does not offer any interest free days. Many other cards provide a certain number of days interest free on purchases to cardholders who clear their balance each month. However, if you typically carry a balance, this feature would not be available to you anyway.

If you like the look of what the Qudos Bank Lifestyle Credit Card has to offer but want interest free days, check out this card’s big brother, the Qudos Bank Lifestyle Plus Credit Card.

Why should you choose this card?

As we’ve already established, the Qudos Bank Lifestyle Credit Card would suit cardholders who carry a balance, allowing them to keep interest costs down, while paying no annual fee. It could also work well for cardholders who want a basic card, with no complex features to get bogged down in.

This card keeps it simple, offering access to Visa’s global network, with acceptance at more than 24 million locations worldwide. As a cardholder, you can also take advantage of Visa's 24 hour worldwide emergency hotline, contactless payments via Visa payWave, security via ORION 24/7 card protection monitoring services, while also getting to select your choice of card design.

Overall Rating

With no interest free days, the Qudos Bank Lifestyle Credit Card would tend to suit cardholders who carry a balance, benefitting from a low ongoing purchase rate, a low annual fee, and an intro offer of 4.99% p.a. on purchases and balance transfers for five months.

Hi Sandhya, Qudos is not running any balance transfer offers at this time. May I suggest looking at an offer like the ANZ Low Rate with 0% for 22 months on balance transfer. Otherwise you can apply online for the Qudos credit cards here - https://www.qudosbank.com.au/Products/CreditCards
