The Qudos Bank Lifestyle Plus Credit Card

Currently offering an intro rate of 4.99% p.a. on purchases and balance transfers for five months, the Qudos Bank Lifestyle Plus Credit Card could be a real money saver. With no annual fee to pay ever, the card also offers a low ongoing purchase rate, up to 46 days interest free on purchases, and no additional cardholder fee.

What we love...

Let’s get into that introductory offer first. The Qudos Bank Lifestyle Plus Credit Card is currently offering an intro rate of 4.99% p.a. on purchases and balance transfers for five months. So, if you have credit card debt that you want to pay down, you could transfer your balance to pay a much lower rate of interest, to chip away more of your debt over that five month intro period.

Alternatively, you may want to save on interest on your purchases. With this low rate, you could save on interest on your everyday spending. Or maybe you have something bigger in mind. If you want to buy something big for the house perhaps – say a sofa or a fridge – you could pay less in interest over the intro period, to clear the cost of the purchase faster.

Ongoing, this card can help you save on interest when you clear your balance each month. As long as you don’t have a balance transfer on the card, and you pay off your balance by the due date, you can benefit from up to 46 days interest free on purchases. While the card doesn’t have a high purchase rate, it’s still best to avoid interest costs accruing by taking advantage of this feature.

Helping you to keep costs down even further, the Qudos Bank Lifestyle Plus Credit Card has no annual fee ever. Have a family member you want to add to the account? You can do so at no extra charge. Streamlining your family finances, this gives you two cards to use, with only one account to keep track of and pay off each month.

What’s not so great...

While this card may be offered by Qudos Bank, it doesn’t provide any Qantas Points earning. As a low cost card, the Qudos Bank Lifestyle Plus Credit Card keeps features basic. Which means no rewards and no fancy features. If you want those extras – and you don’t mind dealing with a higher annual fee and purchase rate – check out the Qudos Bank Platinum Credit Card.

Why should you choose this card?

As a no annual fee card, the Qudos Bank Lifestyle Plus Credit Card could work well for cardholders who want to keep outgoing costs to an absolute minimum. By taking advantage of the card’s interest free feature, and avoiding cash advances, these cardholders could essentially enjoy access to credit and the features on offer while paying out nothing for the privilege.

And those features? While they may be basic, the card does have some extras to offer. As a cardholder, you can access Visa’s global network, while enjoying Visa features such as Visa payWave, Visa Entertainment and access to Visa's 24 hour worldwide emergency hotline. You can also select your choice of card design.

Overall Rating

A basic option with up to 46 days interest free on purchases, the Qudos Bank Lifestyle Plus Credit Card provides a reasonable ongoing purchase rate, no annual fee, and 4.99% p.a. on purchases and balance transfers for five months.

Hi Trevor, I am not sure with Qudos bank. You would need to reach out to them directly to see if your super income is eligible. Typically I see approvals will the bigger banks though its worth asking if you are keen on this card. https://www.qudosbank.com.au/ContactUs
