humm®90 Mastercard

The humm®90 Platinum Mastercard is the rebranded Skye Mastercard, offering up to 110 days interest-free on everyday purchases and up to 60 months interest-free with select retail partners. Instead of an annual fee, the card now charges a $9.95 monthly fee (equivalent to $119.40 per year).

What we love...

The humm®90 Platinum Mastercard is a great choice for savvy shoppers who love flexibility and interest-free payment options. It gives you multiple ways to shop smarter and manage your spending efficiently.

You’ll get up to 110 days interest-free on eligible purchases (excluding cash advances), provided you meet the required repayments. If payments are missed, new transactions start accruing interest from the purchase date at 26.30% p.a., so it’s important to stay on top of your payments.

Even better, you can access up to 60 months interest-free at selected major retailers such as Flight Centre, IKEA, and Nick Scali. Just make the minimum monthly repayments, or pay more to clear your balance faster—the choice is yours.

For larger purchases of $250 or more, the humm90WRAP feature lets you convert them into instalment plans of 9, 12, or 15 months for a small fee. This can be a smart way to manage big expenses over time, as long as you keep up with monthly payments to avoid interest charges.

A standout perk — $0 foreign transaction fees — makes this card a solid companion for online shoppers and travellers who frequently buy from overseas sites.

What's not so great...

The purchase interest rate of 26.30% p.a. is high if you carry a balance beyond the interest-free period. After 12 months, a $9.95 monthly account fee applies. An expired promotional rate of 26.49% p.a. may also apply to outstanding balances.

Why should you choose this card?

If you want flexible interest-free shopping options, plus no foreign exchange fees on international or online purchases, the humm®90 Platinum Mastercard is worth considering—provided you’re disciplined with repayments.

Overall rating

The humm®90 Platinum Mastercard offers long interest-free terms and no foreign transaction fees—making it a powerful tool for frequent shoppers who pay off their balance in full each month.

The app has a great feature which shows you how much you need to pay each month to avoid paying interest. You can also split bigger purchases into an interest free payment plan for a small fee. Customer service has been fine for me, no issues.

Hi so you pay $119 a year and $9.99 a Monthly fee as well. Is this correct?

Hi Denise, thanks for your great question. For the first year, there are no monthly or annual fees. After the 12 months, you'll then pay a monthly fee of $9.95. Due to the way our software works, we've had to display it annualised with an * to explain the monthly breakdowns. You'll only pay the $9.99 monthly fee, after the first year. Hope that clarifies it a bit better Denise.

Hi Kylie, planning ahead for a holiday sounds exciting! With humm®90, the humm90WRAP feature lets you take any purchase of $250 or more and spread it over equal monthly instalments (usually 9, 12 or 15 months). There’s a small fee, but as long as you make the repayments on time, it stays interest free. The card also gives you up to 110 days interest free on everyday spending and no international transaction fees, which can be handy for flights, hotels, or overseas shopping. Right now there’s even a $200 cashback offer if you spend $2,000 in the first 120 days using promo code 200BACK. You can check out more travel-friendly options in our no foreign fee cards guide, and humm90WRAP for more infomation. To apply, just hit the “Go To Offer” button above (if you are confident you can meet the application requirements!).

Can I apply for a credit card if I have all got a Humm account
    Pauline - CreditCard.com.au

    Pauline

    25 February 2025
Hi Jennifer, it looks like having a Humm BNPL account doesn’t stop you from applying for the Humm90 card. You’ll need to make sure you meet all the eligibility requirements as this product falls under the national credit code of conduct. As with all credit products, approval is still subject to the provider.

Hi there, there’s a few interest free options available with the credit card. There’s a 60 day interest free option if you book your flights with “Flight Centre” and there’s also the humm90WRAP feature. This allows you to split payments over $250 into 9, 12, or 15 equal monthly instalments. This card has a few twists and turns so it’s definitely worth your time to read the fine print of this one!

18 August 2024
Hi Pauline, Humm is currently offering a partnership with Flight Centre where they offer 24 months interest free if you pay for your flights with a Humm 90 account. Is this truly interest-free and any advice on any hidden fees or charges that enable them to do this? The reason I ask is I've read so many bad reviews of Humm 90 so unsure if this is a worthwhile deal. I was hoping to take advantage of the deal and pay off before the 24 months interest-free period ends, but don't want to get caught out with any hidden and rip-off fees. Any guidance is appreciated. Thank you Pauline.

Hi there, good on you for looking into the fine print! The terms say you need to pay an annual account fee and an establishment fee (I can’t find firm figures). It sounds like you already know this, but it says that the minimum monthly repayments won’t repay the loan before the interest-free period ends, so you’ll end up paying the standard interest rate (26.30% p.a.) on the remainder. You’d need to calculate the repayments for yourself to make sure it’s paid off. Here are the Humm90 card terms. I can’t tell you from personal experience if Humm90 is a good card or not, sorry. But another option is a card that comes with 0% p.a. on purchases for a promotional period (often it’s 12-18 months). It’s different to Humm90s offer because the 0% offer applies to any eligible purchase and isn’t restricted to partnering businesses. That way you might find a brand you’re more comfortable with. Good luck and happy travels!

Can the Humm90 credit card be used for paying car registration, utility accounts, chemist purchases, supermarket shopping, etc
    Pauline - CreditCard.com.au

    Pauline

    21 May 2024
Hi Kay, yes you can use the humm90 Platinum Mastercard to pay for your car registration, utilities, etc. I suggest checking with the merchant first too if they accept payments via credit card. You should also check whether they’ll be classed as a “cash advance” as these will accrue interest straight away at the higher rate.

    16 August 2023
Hi Carole, that might be worth calling the bank you're trying to balance transfer to and asking them if they accept Humm90 transfers and if it has a different name. Remember you can't transfer between the same bank (Humm to Humm, for example). Thanks Carole, all the best!
