The ANZ Business 55 Interest Free Days Card

Providing a cost-effective way to manage your cash flow, the ANZ Business 55 Interest Free Days card offers up to 55 days interest free on purchases and $0 annual fee in the first year, saving you $150. Cardholders can benefit from a range of extras on this card, including unauthorised transactions insurance, simplified accounting processes and control over individual cardholder spending.

What we love...

One of the most valuable features on the ANZ Business 55 Interest Free Days card is without doubt its simplicity. While this card may not offer rewards or extravagant features, it does allow for extended cash flow management, with a few nice business-related extras thrown into the mix as well. It’s a simple card, but it does simple well.

First up, cash flow. Helping to ease business cash flow day to day, the card provides up to 55 days interest free on purchases. As long as you clear your balance by the due date each month, you can benefit from interest free spending. The number of interest free days you get depends on the day the purchase is made within the statement period. Check out the terms for more on this.

Aside from its interest free days, the annual fee will be waived in the first year allowing you to save $150. This offer may be terminated or withdrawn at any time without prior notice.. You can also add additional cardholders to the account at no extra cost. The card also provides a number of extras that could come in handy in the day-to-day running of a business. In terms of insurance, you can benefit from unauthorised transactions insurance.

Unauthorised transactions insurance protects your business against fraudulent card misuse for up to $37,500 per cardholder, up to a $200,000 maximum for the total account within any 12 month period.

On to business tools. Using the ANZ Business 55 Interest Free Days card, you can keep track of business expenses when you receive simple monthly statements with transactions sorted by cardholder. You can also simplify your accounting processes with data feeds to Xero, MYOB, Intuit QuickBooks Online and other accounting software programs.

The card can also assist with the control of cardholder spending. As the accountholder, you can set monthly spending caps, transaction limits and merchant category controls for each cardholder.

What’s not so great...

While this may be a card that advertises its interest free status, transactions will attract interest under certain circumstances. If you do not clear your balance by the due date, that balance will start to attract interest. You will also not benefit from interest free days during the following statement period. The same applies if you have a balance transfer on the account.

And while the purchase rate on the card is not high, it’s not low either, so it’s best to pay off the balance by the due date each month to avoid interest altogether.

Why should you choose this card?

If you’re looking for a simple business card with some handy business tools and features, the ANZ Business 55 Interest Free Days card may just be for you. You can enjoy all the features we have already mentioned, backed by ANZ service and support. This includes protection against fraud with ANZ Falcon and the ANZ Fraud Money Back Guarantee, plus worldwide emergency credit card replacement should you need it.

Another nice touch is ANZ Design My Card, which gives you the ability to design your own card by personalising it with an image of your choice at no extra cost.
