For new cardholders, the Coles Low Rate Mastercard offers 0% p.a. on Retail Purchases for 6 months (excludes Cash Advances) when you apply by 5 November 2025. After the promotional period, the rate reverts to the standard 13.49% p.a. on Retail Purchases. On top of this, you can also take advantage of 0% p.a. on Balance Transfers for 12 months, subject to a 5% Balance Transfer fee, reverting to the Cash Advance rate of 20.74% p.a. afterwards.
With a low $58 annual fee, this card gives you access to Coles Shield’s three layers of fraud protection, Tap & Pay convenience with Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay, complimentary insurance on your Platinum card, and Coles Instalment Plans to help you manage repayments.
What’s not so great...
The biggest drawback is the Cash Advance rate of 20.74% p.a., along with additional domestic and international cash advance fees.
