The Virgin Group may own Virgin Money but the credit cards they offer are actually linked to a bigger banking network.

Originally established in England by Virgin Enterprises Limited, the Virgin Money brand is a registered trademark of the Virgin family but used under licence in Australia by Citigroup.

This means that Citibank is the credit provider and issuer of Virgin Money credit cards, even though Virgin Money Australia promotes and distributes the credit cards under an arrangement with Citibank. (more…)
