The card is designed to be used for the rewards program. It is not as low cost as some of the no frills “lite” credit cards that BankWest offers, and the interest rate is in some cases double these rates. As with all the other cards in the BankWest Lite range, the BankWest Lite Platinum MasterCard’s low interest rate is intended to keep low. This interest rates is higher than the market leading interest rates although it will keep lower for longer.
