Credit cards are known to be a good way of borrowing money in the short term, as they have interest free grace periods and are flexible both in the way money can be borrowed and the way it can be repaid. At the same time, they are seen as a bad way to borrow in the long term. While this is generally true, there are some ways in which credit cards can become a useful form of long-term borrowing.
