Following its latest update, the ANZ goMoney app is the first in the country to allow customers to do their personal and business banking using a single online application. The latest improvements allow customers to maintain visibility of their business accounts, make payments and improve the day-to-day banking activities.
“Small business owners can already view their ANZ Smart Choice Superannuation via ANZ goMoney, as well as their personal banking, so it makes sense to integrate business accounts as the final piece of the puzzle,” said ANZ General Manager of Small Business, Nick Reade.
ANZ Low Rate Platinum Credit Card
0% p.a. for 12 months on balance transfers, a low purchase rate for a platinum credit card and a range of complimentary covers and benefits.
The apps from the other big four banks don’t yet allow customers to view their business bank accounts next to their personal accounts when using their smartphone.
While small business owners will notice the changes, for larger businesses with complex banking needs, the internet banking platform is still recommended by the ANZ.
Numbers on the downloaded the app are not yet known, but the other ANZ business banking initiative, FastPay, was downloaded 20 000 times since it launched in October 2012 according to a statement issued by ANZ. FastPay allows users access to takings processed before 6:30pm on the same day, and receipts are automatically sent to the merchant and the customer.
The latest update, and FastPay, are part of the $1.5bn Banking on Australia program, designed to entice customers within Australia to bank with ANZ. Another feature of the app which was added in the update is ‘Find ANZ’ which shows users the location of the closest ATM and/or branch to where they are. It can also be used to find a small business banking specialist.
